WE WON OUR GRANDFINAL!! It was SUCH A CLOSE GAME but we won 3-2. After the presentation we then proceeded to Kirrawee Maccas and had a massive food fight. For some really odd reason we didn't get kicked out..

I've been trawling through fashion websites (calcul-ass procrastination), and I'm going to go out shopping (when my magical money magically appears), and buy lots and lots of things, for Spring/Summer of course.....embracing the warm weather after winter=BLOODY BLIZZARD. I need new shorts/floral leotard/cheap jewelry..Just onto a random tangent..is it just me or is it hilarious when people buy expensive clothes purely because it's expensive, and when it is in fact the ugliest thing you have ever seen? I'm not saying I don't love high-fashion and the wonderful creations the fashion houses produce, but it's just so funny how people think that what's 'in' is having expensive clothes, when you can buy an amazing, better outfit than the ones they paid over $300 for. It's about what looks good, not what costs more. My friend recently said about how it's weird when some people pay $80 for a plain white T-shirt...a $5 plain white T-shirt is still a plain white T-shirt. The only reason the expensive one is expensive is because the label's name is on it. I can't talk, however, as Tiffany and Co jewelery is expensive basically because it's Tiffany and Co. But still, I hope you get my point about ugly clothes. When I was going through that phase I got a hot pink Ralph Lauren Polo because, well, it was a Ralph Lauren Polo. I can see now how much of an idiot I was back then. The 'trend' now is not what's expensive, but what looks cheap. Markets/op shops etc. Look at the images below...you can see that cheaper=cooler=better.
HERE IS MY INSPIRATION (sorry for sounding cheesy).

HOCKEY GRANDFINAL

SO BASICALLY tonight is my hockey team's GRANDFINAL. We are hairspraying our hair blue, painting ourselves blue and decorating our dugout blue (our team colours are blue by the way!). We are TOTALLY going to win tonight..I can feel it in my bones (quote Love Actually). Time for an AWESOME weekend. Woot. Grandfinal tonight, getting a tone of work over with tomorrow, election party tomorrow night, and the city on Sunday. I'm not very excited, however, about the election. Don't really like either of them. .... but I stand by Labour. Even though Julia Gillard sounds like an ugg boot wearing, Bin-Tang singlet lover, greasy haired, truckie-wife-type bogan on steroids.

PEE. ESS. LOOK AT THE PHOTO BENEATH=LOOK AT THESE AMAZING SHOES. CAN YOU SEE HOW MANY CHUNKY MIU MIU HEELS ARE THERE THAT I BLOG ABOUT WANTING NON-STOP. UNFAIR. HENCE THE CAPITALS.

PEE.PEE.ESS. I want a dress and a cardigan like the ones below. Badly. Almost as badly as a pair of Miu Miu patterned chunky heels. Almost.

MY COLD IS NEARLY GONE! The warm weather has FINALLY arrived, and I think that was the final dose of medicine to cure me. To school today I made the incredibly stupid decision to throw tights on my legs, which consequently caused me to slowly melt as the hours passed and as the degrees increased. But now I am wearing a singlet and shorts and relishing (yes, relishing) the warm breeze coming through the window. So nicceee.
I have named next week the 'Week of Doom' (WOD for short). This is due to the fact that my Historical Investigation is due, I have a Calculus test on Monday ( I prefer to write it as Calcul-ASS), and a Legal Studies exam in THREE PARTS. However, I am very excited as on Sunday I'm going to my special friend Cindy's birthday at Pancakes on the Rocks (in Darling Harbour....?). I can't wait to order my Short Stack with strawberries, maple syrup, and CREAM.EVERY SINGLE TIME I ask for the CREAM option, not ICE CREAM, AND THEY GIVE MY ICECREAM. I don't like it when it melts and ruins my pancakes OK?.

I really, really, really want Summer to come back. All of last Summer I was whining about how it was so humid, and how I COULD NOT WAIT for Winter to come. Now it's here and Winter, I'm not liking you that much, you've only brought wind and no rain (which I love), as well as a MEGA COLD (that still hasn't gone away). Onto a more random tangent, this weekend I'm going to buy a really cute corset/top thing (sorry about poor description). I'll post a photo when I get it!.
P.S Doesn't this ad make you really happy?

home sweet home

SO I'M BACK. Melbourne was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The Tim Burton exhibition was INSANE. I got to see not only the costumes and sets from all of his movies (including the Mad Hatter's hat from Alice in Wonderland), but I also had the chance to see his personal drawings/letters/doodles/paintings/sculptures/essays/stories from when he was my age! Definitely worth flying to Melbourne for. The AFL was so so fun (as usual), and Mary Poppins was MAGICAL (the best thing I've seen at the theatre, even beat Spring Awakening :0). The shopping was as good as everyone says. I bought SO MUCH, including odd items such as a Che Guevara top and a panda head hat/beanie thing. If you are going to Melbourne make as much use of the Tourist Shuttle Bus (it's red), and go to the Queen Victoria Markets. So.Good. I also checked out the University of Melbourne's open day and was fairly impressed! I took SO MANY
photos; I'll post them on here by the end of the week.

In case you haven't noticed, I've been kind of lazy with the whole '30 day challenge' blog thing. I'm going to stop for now as I have better things to talk about in my opinion. I'll continue if life gets boring....and for once in my life have nothing to say...or maybe I'll pick out the good questions and answer one once a week....decisions, decisions.

MELBOURNE TOMORROW

Day 14- A picture of you and your family
I'll do it after Melbourne. Believe me, there will be plenty of 'family' shots...

SO BASICALLY I'm off to Melbourne tomorrow! Woot. We are leaving the house at 5.45 am (=death). Mum and Dad are hanging in the Qantas Club while us kiddos have been told to stay at Maccas. Not normally my idea of fun, BUT WE'RE AT THE AIRPORT! I'm camera-ready, so be prepared for a tsunami of photographs on Monday. I'm warning you in advance.
Until then, PEACE OUT BROTHER
P.S Chris, you say I don't blog about you enough. HELLO THERE. HOPE YOU ARE WELL. HAVE AN ABOVE AVERAGE WEEKEND! CHEERS BRAH
